My Macbook was stolen in September. I filed a police report.
By January I assumed the police would never find the laptop, so I called to cancel the extended warranty on the laptop. Apple said the laptop was now registered under someone else's name.
Because of the new information, I filed a new report with the police. They sent Apple a formal letter and later a subpoena requesting whatever information Apple has on the current possessor of the computer. Apple has yet to respond to the police.
I want Apple to support the law, support what is right and ethical, and to support me as a PAYING customer who purchased their products, warranties, one-to-one classes, and accessories. I want Apple to give the police the information that Apple has so that the computer can be recovered.
