I have a pair of LL Bean 's fleece lined slippers. After wearing them for a day or two my feet turned light red and began to swell.
After another day or two I began to have a problem sleeping because my feet were very cold. I live in Southern California where a very low night time temperature is 50 to 60 degrees F and cold feet are not a normal or regular problem.
I checked on the internet and found that cold feet while in bed at night can be caused
By very poor blood circulation.
I have a hunch that the fleece lining in these sippers contains some toxic materials that are left over from the tanning or processing of the sheep skin used to make the fleece.
I called LL Bean and reported the trouble I was having with their slippers but have not had a reply.
Question: Does anyone have any idea as to how spread the word about the potential health problem with Bean's slippers? This could be a big problem for elderly customers.
