I entered my frequent flyer # when I booked, but Orbitz failed to pass that info on to the airline... So now I am left to fend for myself trying to get the airline miles added to my account. Expedia always makes sure that they pass along that information, I have never had a problem with them,
I also ALWAYS request a window seat, however when I received the confirmation from Orbitz, it said "Any Seat" when I tried to change it - it wouldn't let me. I had actually even chosen my seat from a seat map that Orbitz provided when I booked the ticket AND I CHOSE A WINDOW SEAT! But Orbitz either did not pass that info along to the airline... Or they just didn't bother to honor my request. So I was stuck on a 12 hour overnight flight in a MIDDLE seat! Worst flying experience of my life!!!
2 strikes & your are out Orbitz. I will Never ever use your booking site again & will make sure i pass the info along to my family, friends, and coworkers!!
