I signed up to Masergame on a free-trial basis, but was not aware that I would be automatically billed at the end of the trial period. The account I hold with them does not inform me of my sign-up date, but I am sure it is less than one month, which according to the terms and conditions, is the standard length of a trial period.
I was not warned anywhere else that I would be automatically billed, or that my account would be automatically upgraded without my permission. I am sure that I have not received an email stating that my account was about to be upgraded, and that £26/$42.28 would be taken out of my account.
Primarily I would like to know if this is legal, and whether I can reclaim my money.
