I was looking for diet suppliments online and was willing to pay, but when I came accross Slimtone and bodycleanse it wouldnt give me any prices and kept saying about a free trial, so I thought i'd give it a go. Even through the word free was mentioned on many occasions it did not make clear that I was entering a contract. I had moved away from home and actually forgot I had ordered them. My parents made me aware 2 more parcels had come through and when I checked my statement £116.95 had been taken last month and anohter £116.95 was going through which my bank were unable to cancel because it wasn't a direct debit. The website only accepts e-mails and even though they say theres a support helpine, there's no one you can actually speak to.
I am absolutely disgusted that they can get away with this!
I work in customer services myself and know that if you tick a terms and condition box (which was already ticked) then you as a customer are at fault, but I also know the company cannot lead customers on and need to give out enough information so the customer knows what they are letting themselves in for.
I need thjat money back.
