Offer to try 2 different skin care products and pay just for shipping. I clicked for a free sample of 2 different products. I entered my card details for postage costs. I was directed to a receipt page which advised that my product would be with me within days. Nowhere did it mention that I could expect to receive further products, nor did it give met the option to opt our. Within a few weeks I received 2 seperate parcels, each containing the 2 different samples. Shortly after I received another product. I checked my statement and realised I had been charged approx $97. I called my bank straight away and began the process to claim the money back. They have charged my card twice (one for each of the two new itms) but only sent me one product.
Samples came from the US and but one subsequent products is from Germany but with French language on.
Been informed by bank to return the product. Changing my account details.
I have emailed the company threatening to report them for fraud but not had a reply.
As of today, I have found a further 2 charges but this time the company is in the UK. They are bouncing the payments to companies all around the world it seems.
My bank are opening a fraud investigation.
