I was silly enough to order free samples of face cream products through the internet from Vitalyze Skin in September for which I paid postage fee. I recieved the free samples and then in November noticed that payments from a variety of companies had come out of my account for the total of £301.89.
After contacting my bank I was informed that all the companies appeared to be connected to Vitalyze Skin/SYLK Skin and was given a UK phone number to contact. They cancelled any further payments through my account but informed me that they would not be able to claim back through the bank as unfortunelty these kind of companies have themselves covered via terms and conditions - small print in which it states that if do not cancel account or return items within a period then products will be sent/charged monthly (as stated I was not aware that i had signed up for this).
When I called the number I found I was calling Florida and the advisor informed me that I had opened an account when ordered the free products and had signed up to monthly products. I informed them that I did not request/authorise further products other than the free samples and to cancel my account and refund money taken from my account for which no products had been recieved. Since then products charged for have been recieved via post and returned with the same request.
I have emailed them on a number of occassions and requested that they contact me re refunding the money but have had no response from them.
