Rn2) All new activation for Tata Docomo products take 8-10 days minimum for verification and then only activation gets done. Rn3) In effect, after the customer applies for connection, he has to wait for 10-12 days for the activation in spite of his having given all papers which are necessary at the time of application. Rn4) On reading out your mail they were positive that as the data is not yet logged in computer, the connection shows "invalid state" and there is nothing the out let can do about this problem. RnrnSir, if you are in telecom service industry for some reasonable time, you would understand that the above clarification given by your out let as well as yourself is just "passing the parcel" neither of you are owning the responsibility for this delay thereby making the customer suffer in the process. RnrnI ALSO SUGGEST THAT, IF WHAT YOUR ABOVE OUT LET TOLD ME IS TRUE, YOU SHOULD ADVERTISE THIS ASPECT OF YOUR SERVICES TO GENERAL PUBLIC SO THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT THE LEVEL OF EFFICIENCY THE JAPANESE NTT DOCOMO HAS FALLEN TO UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF TATA! RnrnPlease take it from me that no customer is going to wait for 12 days to activate his Photon services which is required only when he is mobile. For your own assimilation, pl note the activation time for new connection by other companies: reliance: 48 hours, bharti airtel: 72 hours, mtnl: 36 hours, vodafone: 36 hours. RnThe activation time compilation I have done above is based on actual experience of customers but even if you go by TRAI regulation the stipulated time is 72 hours within which you have to intimate the reasons to the customer if his connection is not activated. Rnrnno wonder even after new naming, tata docomo out lets are showing deserted look as many customers like me must have suffered and used "word of mouth publicity tool" for showing the true picture of this company.
