Purchased direct tv thru walmart in franklin, in
on the 12th of dec.installed on the 14th on the 17 we got up to no signal / no service. I called dtv and went through 55minutes of plug and unplug, turn on and off etc. I finally got fed up and told her to just disconnect and come get their equip. She transf. Me to that dept and when i explained the guy that installed this told us we have 7 days to back out of the contract and that's what i'm opting to do. She informed me that was not true. So then i ask them to send someone out to fix the system she checked and said since i purchased from walmart i'd have to go back to them to schedule service because they are not directly connected to direct tv. I called back to walmart and talked to the guy who sold us and he said they have their own installers and repair crew not connected with direct tv. So again i have to call their service and was told to call back after holding for 10 minutes! What happened to a 3 day out of a contract? Today, i was told i had only 24 hours after instillation to opt out of the contract. I don't believe walmart should have these people in store misrepresenting direct tv. Now what can i do, i'm here with no service. I'm under contract for 695.88 for the first year and 875.88 for the second year. That's a total of $1,571.76
