Had purchased 3 rooms of high end forever furniture and paid a premium, also purchased a extended 7 yr warranty-Had dining table replaced 2 times due to cracking and chipping of surface and cocktail table replaced a couple of times due to big blotches forming in the marble and when covering it took on the imprint of the covering. Since my husband died in 2007 they have refused to give me further service or even return my calls. Manger himself came to view the problem and offered 1,000 for the table and 600 for the cocktail table and the cost of the warranty. I wanted it replaced as I had the extended wanrranty but they didn't do either. Then after calling over 52 times, I went to orleans store and saw him and he refused to talk to me saying he was busy with a customer but would call-He never did-The warranty company has since went out of business so they say, however they continue to sell a very similar set with extended warranty available. What good is paying a high price for furniture and a high price for warranty if it is not honored. I returned to store several times without any success. Customers overheard my complaints and they started asking me questions in the parking lot and when I said I was just not given any satisfaction, they run out to the parking lot and threatened to call police to have me escorted off the grounds saying I had no right to talk to anybody. I attempted to call agaian and again the last time being today and two times last week. The woman on the other end said well its expired because it was back in 2008 and I explained that Brian still has not spoken to me or returned my calls-She said she found that very hard to believe. So were do I go from here? I am diabled and my husband is now dead. Please help. Should I go to the papers or higher a lawyer? We paid in cash.
