I purchased a table I fell in love with in December and was pleased with the service in the store and the salesman took time to answr questions and I went ahead and purchased the warranty with it since he told me that since it is a wood table buying and using the wax would save me in the event that I have problems with the table.

Only a few weeks after I got the table I started seeing rings on the table from where a cup had been placed - any time anything is left on this table it stick... There are now marks all over my nice new table.

I called the store and they sent out a tech - when the tech saw the table he said he was going to try and restore it there but probably they would need to take the table to a plant to refinish it becuase the seal on the table did not seem right - he took pictures of the table after he did the refinishing that he was able to do there and he said it still did not look good - it looked better but no where near where it should look - and the cup rings were still presnet.

The tech clearly told me this was not my fault and that there was obviously an issue with the seal that was on the table. He said he would have his manager call me within 48 hours to figure out what we could do - this was early Sept.

Needless to say I never received a call - so I called the store where I purchased it and have talked to 2 different girls that answer the phone and they say they need to call and talk to managers and will get back to me - they NEVER call back. So I have now called 4 times after the tech came to the house - the girl I spoke with said the after pictures the table looks great - Um no way - and the tech even said it looked terrible... Then she said well if you would have used the wax the way you should have you would not have this problem - I do use the wax and even offered to show the tech the wax kit and he said no that is ok I can tell you use the wax. Then she said well we are not going to give you a new table there is nothing we can do you have ruined the table.

I told her that I am an adult and know how to take care of my furniture and I did not ruin my table. I said I am not happy and don't want a new table I love the style I just want it fixed. She said she would talk to the tech tonight after 7pm when he gets there??? And see what they can do but again told me not to expect a new table.

I really only want what I paid for. I loved my table I bought a large wall unit and a whole bedroom suite from them - I like their furniture and I am highly disappointed in the customer service I have received.

I am not sure what to do now...
