I paid to see my credit report on FreeCreditReport.com and was subsequently charged $12.95 by CIC Triple Advantage. I called 1-800-388-8725 and canceled my "membership" and will be hopefully refunded $12.95. I then called FreeCreditReport.com to ask them why they were running a fraudulent online scam and they told me that everything was in the "terms and conditions" of purchasing my credit report. However, the email I received when my credit report was ready from FreeCreditReport.com asked me to sign up for the service - which I NEVER did. This inconsistent and sneaky business practice has to stop!
