Back in January I checked my credit report on "FREECREDITREPORT.com". Although I admit I am an idiot, I didn't realize until my October 23 statement from my credit card company that I have been paying $12.00 per month for this supposedly FREE service. So, I have now paid $120.00 for FREE reports. A little bit ridiculous and very deceiving. How many people have been ripped off by this process. Our government has advised everyone to go on line to freecreditreport.com to make sure their credit report is accurate. How much of a kick back are members of congress getting for this rip off.
I called CIC Triple Advantage today and have canceled their "free" service, but am very angry at being out $120.00.
