I had multiple issues with patchy service and decided to cancel my TWC account when I lost service, yet again, and was told the soonest a service tech could check it was in 10 days. During which, I would continue to have to pay on my account. Therefore, I cancelled my service on 8/29. I returned all of my equipment on 9/7 and was told that I had a $250 credit on my account that would be returned in 4-6 weeks. After 7 weeks, on 10/26, I called TWC and spoke with customer service. I was informed that yes, I do still have a $250 credit and no, no check had been mailed. The representative stated that she would put in an escalation ticket and call me back in 2-3 business days. It is now 6 business days later and I still haven't heard from them. So, I called again. I was told that yes, an escalation ticket was put in and I would possibly get my check in ANOTHER 6-8 weeks. Clearly, I do not trust this information. And we all know that if I OWED them $250 they wouldn't patiently wait for 4 months!!! To get my payment. I find their customer service unacceptable and the fact that I was told that "the billing department doesn't take incoming calls" a terrible way to do business. When I asked to speak to someone else, I was put in hold for 3 minutes and then transferred to an unknown person's voicemail. Any ideas?!?!?
