We cancelled our Time Warner Cable service a month ago. They received our returned equipment 7/15/10. We had signed up for them to debit our monthly payment from our checking account. Big mistake. On 8/6/10 they took almost $500 from our account because of an error on their part. Trying to get it back has been a nightmare. No one returns calls. Every CSR says it's something they can't handle. No supervisors will return our calls. Finally one promised a refund within 24 hours. That sounded too good to be true and it was. Now they're saying they'll issue a check to us in about 14 days. Meanwhile our account is overdrawn and we don't have $500 to spare for 2 weeks.
