I was offered a second chance to purchase a diamond bracelet on e-bay from this seller, unaware that they only accept Pay Pal as method of payment. I tried to pay by credit card through Pay Pal—without luck. I told seller to forget it since it was such a hassle and he wouldn't permit me to pay by money order. A few days later I had bid on an emerald and diamond ring and won the item. At checkout I realized it was same seller as for the bracelet. (I pay attention closely now—I was very new)
Strangely enough, the checkout transaction was simple—and I noticed it had added bracelet as well. This wasn't a problem since I wanted it and payment was posted on 8/14/04. The sales receipt/order indicated that, even though I'd been charged separately for shipping, both items were shipped together in one package.
About two weeks later when the package arrived and I opened it I was very upset when I saw only the bracelet had been sent. Feeling deceived, I made several attempts to contact seller via e-bay e-mail and directly, which was futile. I then filed a dispute with e-bay which also accomplished nothing. I made one last attempt to contact seller through e-mail to which their response was "contact usacomplaints.com and file complaint."
That's why I am here.
I did however, contact my bank and appraise them of situation and they are crediting the $51.95 to my card and going after the seller.
