After days of bidding on Ebay for item #280157093521 New John Hardy Jaisalmer Dot Pearl Cuff Bracelet w/box, I won it on 9/27/07. What a nightmare!!!
Sent money order next day as requested by the seller which was the only payment method they had. After a month of back and forth emails with concerns of not getting my item with the seller who is no longer a registered member of Ebay, the item was cancelled by ebay after I paid for it due to account "compromised", Ebay or paypal cannot do much to help out because of the payment method.
Finally on 10/29/07 I received a FAKE John Hardy bracelet that does not look anything like the one described on the ad or the pictures. There are no markings of the designer's name anywhere on the bracelet and it did not come in a box. This not the bracelet won or advertised!
As in a different complaint I read, the person that was selling the item was also out of town for a week after i won the item and could not tell me if the money order was received or even if they had recieved inventory.
