I have tried five times to cancel wmconnect over a period of three months and have always been told I was being given a free month to try it longer. I have had it for a year and explained it is too slow and I have taken it out of my computer and now an using aol 9.0. I am always talking to someone in India who is answering wmconnect's cancellation sevice. I think they are penalilzed if they allow someone to cancel!!!
They told me wmconnect and aol are the same company—and I believe it because the graphics are almost identical. I have not gotten any of the free months promised but have been billed regularly. I finally cancelled my credit card and told them so today—but that didn't make any difference and I was again told I was being given another free month and had to call back by Sept. 15 to cancel! What am I to do next?
