I tried to cancel my wmconnect internet service on July 29 at 8:30 am. I was on hold til 9:45am at which time I had to leave to go to an appt.
I tried again at 8:30 pm. I was on hold till 10pm (I have a speaker phone, so if I think I am going to be on hold for awhile I use it otherwise I would never stay on hold this long)
At 10pm I hung up and called back this time instead of pressing 5 for cancellation and pressed 3 for billing. The lady told me she could help me but I need my credit card number.
I had left my purse in the car. I explained to her how long I had been trying to get them. She said no problem you can call billing back and someone would help me. I did. They didn't. They said I would have to call cancellation, they had no way of doing cancellations. She connected me to the cancellation dept. At 10:15 a lady answered and told me to hold, at 10:30 I hung up and went to bed.
For 2 days I tried to fax it. Then I mailed it.
On the 14th, I called billing. She said my service had been cancel for non payment. I told her it had been take out on the 1st. I explained everything to her she said she would give me a refund. I got my refund on the Aug. 16th and on Aug. 16th they took it out again... I called billing back. She said I would have to fax them my bank statement. They had no record of them taking it out.
