I had cable and internet service installed back in January. Well since then (4/5) I have had problems daily with my internet service dropping connection and rebooting. Sometimes I have to manually reboot the modem myself and takes up to 25 minutes for the connection to reestablish. Now your going to tell me that this type of service is acceptable for the cost? I have returned my cable modem 3 times.By the third time the person who was dealing with the problem was very rude. (I suppose irritated by me complaining, but you know what, THATS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!) Well brand new modem still in box when I left there, took it home. Attempted to make a connection. None. Had to call technical support to run a test. No luck after about 30 minutes. Then randomly connects. I have been givin the run around with the blame that it is my "router". Which it is not, i didnt have this issue when I had a Motorola or Scientific Atlanta modem. Im stuck with this piece of crap UBEE. This service is awful. My father works for Time Warner but I am ashamed of stating his name because I wouldnt want to embarrass him with this rediculous complaint I having to make. I hope this issue can b resolved soon.
