Excesive charges on restoring services

I want to advise all of the customers of AT&T of the ripoff tactics that they are actually using to get more money from consumers like us. I've been with AT&T for years without paying attention to those charges that appears on every billing cycle, on December 28, I decided to call customer service to find out why I was getting a higher than usual bill, so I requested a disclosure of the account from September to December. I made a payment on November 24 in the amount of $111 and my actual balance was $236.96. I was suppose to have a $14.99 Internet services, $35 Total Call Phone Plan, plus Government fees and International Long Distance Calls for. 05 cents a minute with the plan of total call, usually $65 to $68 per month. This is what shocked me, I found out that because I did not pay my bill in a timely manner, my phone and DSL services were interrupted, because of that, they charge a reconnection fees of $30 for the phone $30 for the DSL, a total of $60, on top of the monthly fees, just for the month of September * (Here is where I like to any law firm take a look and find out if there's any way to start a Class action against AT&T, because those charges are ridiculous. If I pay $14.99 a month for DSL services and they charge $30 for reconnection that is 200%, I believe there's some rule for this type of charges and they should not exceed the amount of the service, but I ignored this information, that's the reason that I put this on the lawyers hands. I will really appreciate if someone take a look at least and leave me a comment, Thanks in advance.) * This is just the beginning of the story, they charge me the same for the following months October, November and December, only for the DSL, not for the phone, adding $90 to my Balance, not only that, but they offer a temporary services for only 12 Months, and my promotional period was expired since August, so they automatically adjust it to $35 per month adding $20 a month for Sept, Oct, Nov, and December, total of $80. I ended paying for everything, except for one time courtesy fee of $30 waived * (here is my advice for the consumer, pay attention to every single bill, that way you will notice any changes right away and if there's any dispute it can be resolved promptly and pay on time or call to make payment arrangements, that's the only way to avoid excessive charges, pay attention on those promotional terms and if they are not willing to provide you with the service, look for alternatives, check for other providers promotions) * The last one; I tried to make a payment over the phone with my Credit Card and they told me that I had to pay $5 fee, so I hanged up the phone, went to local payment location and saved those 5 Bucks.
