I had landline telephone service for 50 years with Bell South and always received good service. Now with ATT, I get slow disinterested service from a giant that no longer has any interest in satisfying customers!
On June 17, I lost my both my landline service and my DSL service. When I called to request repair, the representative suggested that I go online and file my complaint there! I was given a repair date a week after my failure. There is no emergency in my community, no large number of people needing service, yet a week before service can be had. I made further calls as well, but to no avail!
My service was finally repaired by a competent serviceman and is now up and running. But a week to wait for service in normal conditions is simply not acceptable!
I am told that no one regulates this communications giant in the state of Florida.
