(Rustic And More, Southwest And More, And Western And More) No Product Refusal to refund money ripoff

Placed an order for rustic furniture online at www.RUSTICANDMORE.com on January 3. Received order confirmation on 1/4/04 - delivery was estimated as 4 to 6 weeks. 4 to 6 weeks came and went - I went online and asked for a status of my order. I was told that the order had been placed, there was a delay at the factory and it would be 4 more weeks before the order was received at the warehouse.

On April 13, I wrote an email stating that I had not been able a status of my order. A message from Online Enterprise President, Juan Luis Vera, stated that he would like to give the warehouse 10 more days to resolve the issues surrounding our order. Those issues being blamed on US Customs detaining containers at the border.

I responded to that email asking what my options were regarding cancellation, etc. I was told that once the 10 days had expired, if I wished to cancel my order, they would refund 100% of my money.

14 days went by with no communication. I emailed the company explaining that I didn't have any information regarding my order and I wished to have my money refunded. The company then responded that they had "found" my order and it was not up to the quality expectations of the company and it was being returned to the manufacturer. They gave me the option of waiting for the new furniture or the refund. I opted for the refund. On April 30, I was told that they would process a refund and it would take 10 business days to process through their system.

On Friday, May 7, I emailed requesting the status of my return. The email that I received astonished me... Juan Luis Vera, President replied that my refund would not be processed at this time. On Line Enterprises was going through a restructuring period until July and they would not be able to process any refunds until then. Once systems are online they told me they would be reviewing each order one-by-one and trying to find the best resolution possible. I returned the email stating that the only resolution to my order would be a refund.

My husband contacted the credit card company and we were informed that they can not assist us since it is past 60 days. I have filed complaints with the Florida Attorney General and the Texas Attorney General as well as the Better Business Bureau.
