I placed an order in May and the total with delivery and taxes came to $124.17. On May 10 I emailed the company and inquired as to how long it would take to ship, and was told 7-14 business days.
On May 24 I emailed again because my order had not arrived, and was told they had "fallen a little behind."
On June 19 I emailed, telling them I still had not received my order. On June 20 they responded, saying "we hope to have your order shipped by mid-week next week."
On July 11 after yet another inquiry by me, I received an email in which they stated they didn't have a precise date of shipment, that they had been dealing with "some problems with our suppliers and shipments being held up in customs." They asked if I would like to cancel my order, and at that point, doubting I would ever receive it anyway, I said yes. I received a confirmation email that same day (July 11) stating my order had been cancelled per my request, and that my refund would be credited back to the card I used when I placed the order.
So I have been waiting since July 11, and still don't have my money. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the Atlanta area, and yesterday heard back from them, stating that Empire Swords never even responded to them (which they said is very rare).
So here I am back at square one — no product and no refund.
