I have been dealing with Dell Financial Services for over a year and cannot get anywhere. They refuse to work with a debt management program, refuse to set up payment arrangements, do not post payments in a timely manner and pad your bill with excessive and erroneous interest rates and fees.
You cannot communicate with them and they do not understand credit, business or the language. They refuse to let you speak with anyone who is empowered to help you.
After one particularly negative conversation, my computer crashed and my entire hard drive was destroyed. I believe that this was intentionally done by them through the use of my email address. When I was attempting to restore the computer, I found old files on it, indicating that what I had purchased as new was in fact, rebuilt.
They refuse to work with me on a refund or allow me to return the merchandise. I am at a loss as to how to deal with these incompetent, rude and stupid people. It would please me to be able to get through to anyone who has the ability to understand and assist me, but they keep those folks locked in a closet some where. When you call Dell, they will not even tell you who the Vice President of Finance is or how to contact him. There is no such thing as consumer relations with this company.
I would love to see a huge class action lawsuit filed against this company and have this nightmare erased from my credit.
