Dell Computers and DEll Financial Services are employing deceptive practices. I purchased a Dell computer because of the no interest offer till 2006 and low interest rate offers. I applied and was approved for a preferred customer card. I didn't see where it said preferred customer with exceptions. I says you are an approved customer and takes you back to the order page. I contacted Dell and inquired as to why I was not notified that I would not be getting no interest till 2006. Dell customer support contacted me by return email and advised and advised me that they were sorry I didn't see it on the confirmation page but it was there. They also stated it was in the packet that was sent to me with my card. The computer arrived in 4 days and the card with interest information about 20 days later.
I was kinda shock that a company as big as Dell would use these type of practices. So in closing I will be sending them a check for the entire balance. They may have won the battle but not the war. I will also close the account. I will tell everybody shopping for a computer to beware of Dells practices. Hopefully when the word spreads around, they will end up losing more than they gained.
