Qui Bids
Bidding Scam/Unprotected Website Problem

I placed 588 bids ($352.80 invested) in a computer auction valued at $776.00 that contained 9,246 total bids ($5547.60 total investment). Identical computer is currently sold at local Cosco for $485.00. There were 5 bidders left in the auction at the time I was railroaded. 1 automatic bidder and 4 including myself were single bidders. Everytime I bid, all 3 single bidders would overbid me and then the automatic bidder would overbid them. The rounds I did not bid, the same scenario developed whereby each of those 4 bidders would overbid each other over and over again thus allowing my bidding savings to get at the 9246 bid level. At bid 9238 a new automatic bidder entered the bidding field with 25 automatic bids. Long time automatic bidder over bid him. I then overbid. Bid #9240 was by a single bidder. Bid #9241 was by the second single bidder. Bid #9242 was by the third single bidder. Bid #9243 was by the long time automatic bidder. I bid #9244. Bid #9244 was made by the 3rd single bidder. Bid #9245 was made by the 1st single bidder. Bid #9246 was made by the long time automatic bidder. I then place my bid with 2 seconds to go on the auction (which had used the same tactic with the previous 588 bids) only to have the entire window go grey with an error message that displayed 2 seconds after the auction ended.

I brought up all these points to Quibids and everytime they tried to claim no fault I countered with evidence the auction was mishandled and/or bidders were in contact with each other to orchestrate the conclusion of this auction. I later found out from a different Quibids employee that the 2nd automatic bidder that purchased 25 automatic bids cancelled that request with 23 bids left to make which also happened to be the same exact round the aucion ended. Coinsequence? I very much doubt it. Quibids did offer me 25 free bids after I asked for all 588 bids I expended but I felt I had shown me being frauded but I guess nothing comes free in life anymore. I am looking into the tactic of being able to reverse the situation to get my money back and it may take me time to accomplish it but then Quibids can afford it.
