It is amazing how many new bidders Quibids has enrolled from February 27th thru today, March 3rd. These "GHOST" bidders run up the bids and are costing real bidders tens of thousands of dollars per day. It is funny that when GHOST bidders appear to win an auction, the timer "HANGS ON" until a real bidder places a bid. I have watched dozens of bids over the last few days where the timer "HANGS" for 5-8 seconds waiting for a real bidder. This is not always the case, however. I observed 1 auction on March 2nd for a $450 HDTV (auction # 932663380). The "GHOST" actually won for lack of any real bidders and I would like to know that the winning "GHOST" actually took delivery of the $450 TV for the winning bid of. 36 cents. The bidders name was "traxman9", had never won an auction, and joined Quibids on 2/27. That would be very interesting!
I am interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit against Quibids for their FRAUDULENT practices manipulating the bidding process via their computer programming.in addition, they are guilty of FRAUDULENT advertising. If I log in under my "paid" subscriber account and search their recent auctions, I find only the real auctions and bids. If I go in under my friends "non paid" account, I finds hundreds of ficticious auctions mixed in with the real auctions. The ficticious auctions showed no bidders in numerous cases and numerous bids won for only pennies. This serves to "sucker in" new subscribers via false/fraudulent advertising.
I will assist in documenting these illegal activities if I can find a lawyer to pursue the matter. PLEASE contact me.
