My daughter and I pre-ordered Brink with Direct2Drive thinking that IGN was a reputable company. We couldn't be more wrong. After selling us a cd key they had already sold to someone else, and massive issues documented
Basically... They're totally not legit and a rip off. So in order to play the game I bought a NEW copy directly from STEAM. And I immediately emailed Direct2Drive and requested a refund since I bought a second copy.
Because they have no number to call, have no customer service, and only correspond when you open a ticket, 24 hours later they email me back with a Key trying to tell me the matter has been resolved.
I IMMEDIATELY responded back to request a refund. AND AGAIN they said "sorry but we refuse to refund purchases online."
Long story short, avoid Direct2Drive. There's so much shady crap going on over there.
