Skybeam Internet, partnered with Jab Broadband/Jab Wireless, who purchased or partnered with CDI Broadband, and AirCanopy in Texas. They have other partners such as Digis in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho.
I can't speak for all the partners and I know AirCanopy USED to provide great service with great products until they were partnered/purchased by Skybeam.
They advertise "reliable" & "fast" internet with "blazing speeds" up to 5mbps *depending on package purchased.
Had it set up at our home they used old wires from previous company and used radio equipment. It worked for a few days and then down. Called in poor service. Even told by one person they had to go cause it was time for them to go home and hung up on me. Another girl said one girl said it was time for lunch and hung up on her, so they really do not care about their customers.
It fixed after a few more days but much slower than we paid for. We are in the country and have no alternatives other than satellite internet who "rations" internet. It went down again. More calls no help.
Storms rolled in, no service. Fixed and then down again - bad gateway or something. Tried to say my equipment all new stuff as of 2. Not my equipment. They fixed again and some other tech came out changed us towers and has not worked since 5 days later and about 50 calls still no help. I called in sales and requested a new install and they laughed at me and said they'd escalte the call.
Guess what? Still days later no service, no help, no repairs. No internet. You have to wait 2-3 weeks for tech to show up he will stay 5-10minutes and leave. It might be fixed for a day or two but then it crashed again and stays slow or down for weeks. No one listens and no one does anything. Save yourself if you can from this company it might be great sounding, but remember - "nothing is as good as it seems" or "sounds too good to be true it probably is". I fell for it as did many others on here, and most don't have fast or reliable internet through Skybeam. If you like your games or internet do NOT choose this company.
In 4 months we have had service maybe 1 total month and usually it is speeds of 50kps-200kps or less. We are paying for 5mbps and its about $70/month. We are not even close.
There is also some shady billing in regards to referrals. This is my experience and I will not recommend. I see many others have had the same if not worse experience.
