Real Smart E-Mail certainly is trying to be real smart. After opeining my phone bill today, I noticed an extra charge for $14.95. It turns out that "someone" had authorized a charge for Real Smart E-Mail service on my account. I called the 800 number on the bill and got a lady in customer service, explaining that I had not ordered their service and wanted it cancelled. No problem was her answer. It took a good 10 minutes to cancel however after she did so, she proceeded to tell me about another one of their "services" that they offered.By now, I was totally ticked off. I told her I was not interested in any of their services and that their company was scamming the consumer by their practices as well as wasting my time.
I`m writing this complaint to warn others of this scam. Elderly people will have problems dealing with these people and may end up just paying the charges. I may very well file a complaint with the B.B. B after I get done with this one.
