At the beginning I was misled and tricked into getting Smart Connect. It says you can pay much later, so why do they charge a late fee?
I have another complaint as well. I tried to pay with my PayPal on 07/03, when I made an online purchase on either eBay or Amazon. These are the transaction details: P9263005TEHM6T6ZK PAYPAL PURCH, 4029357733 SAN JOSE CA $53.40
I had enough funds available on my PayPal, but I was unable to pay from my funds. The website always directed me to Smart Connect, and I was forced to pay with Smart Connect because I was tired by the end. Any time I tried to pay from my PayPal funds, the website directed me to Smart Connect. This is wrong!
I never received any email reminder to pay the balance on Smart Connect. Smart Connect is very smart for itself. I tried to cancel Smart Connect and called GE, but I was unable to do so. Please cancel my Smart Connect. I hate it.
Also, why does the website direct me to Smart Connect so that I am unable to pay from my available funds when buying on eBay or Amazon? Now I have a $25 extra charge.
