Do NOT buy the HP Touchsmart 300! HP has been selling the touchscreen series of computers to the unsuspecting consumer with full knowledge that there are serious and I mean SERIOUS defects with the product. After only two months my HP Touchsmart 300 began crashing to blue screen, and the error message ranged from "Disable Bios shadowing and caching" to "Uninstall any new software or hardware" to "Page fault in non paged area". The product was released prematurely to keep up with the Joneses, and Windows 7 is NOT compatible with a Touch Screen environment. What good is a brand new HP computer if you cannot install an HP printer with the same OS drivers? If you cannot install Outlook? Quickbooks? HP technical support is now outsourced offshore and staffed by college kids who read from a scripted set of diagnostic instructions, and very often do not conprehend what they are reading.
