HP'S defective touchsmart computers

Was in dire need of a new computer so I decided to buy one on line from the HP store. I also had several coupons which were not honored except the lowest one I had. I bought the middle class computer a touchsmart 320 because that was all I could afford on a disability check. It was sent and after I had set it up it would not turn on, and that when the nightmare started. I got a RMA# sent it back but was sent to the wrong address. But before that I was told to contact service center in which a tech. Asked me to open up the back of computer to see if I could find the problem. I refused and the tech. Advise me them I would not be able to send it back in. I advised him it was poor judgment in having a customer do diagnostic work which could void the warranty. Complained and was told to ship computer to to a warranty shop, in which computer never got there because fed-ex sent it to another location. It finally came back to me with a broken out screen in which fed - ex is blaming HP and HP is blaming fed-ex and now I am out of a computer. Fed-ex claims since HP did not list a value I will only get 100.00 dollars no more or less. Contacted the case managers office and get no responds on the computers outcome. Its sad that one can not rely on a giant company to replace defective products. I only wish they had the quality of service and customer satisfaction that Amazon.com has. I will only buy from amazon next time because they stand behind anything they sell or do.
