They took over $400 for a bogus early cancellation fee

Do not ever get service with Directv.in June I ordered service from them on a 12 month contract. Last March when I moved I had them transfer the service to my new house. When they came out to install it they told me it was not a contract extension. The motherf*ers lied. We canceled our service last month and have already sent the equipment back. They just took a $480 charge out of my checking account to pay an early cancellation fee. They tell me that's because when I transferred my service I signed a contract extension, which I did not. They are way too expensive and Charter cable is way cheaper and that's why we canceled with them.

I have called them twice to get this straightened out and have gotten nowhere. I finally got someone to email their supervisor about it. But I'm not waiting to hear back. I'm pissed because we now have no money to feed our kids with until next Friday. I filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General Consumer Protection unit.
