In February I purchased a battery for my laptop from cheap-laptop-battery.com for approximately $76 usd. I received a battery about a month later that did not work at all with my laptop although it was the correct shape. After emailing them about the problem I was told I needed to pay them another $10 more to get a battery that they thought would work as they needed more money for the additional postage and I could keep the useless battery.
After approximately another month I use the tracking number that they supplied me and see the battery is in Canadian customs. Weeks later no change. I email them and let them know about the situation. They tell me to wait. As of August 28th the battery apparently was held/stuck/lost by Canadian Customs and they refunded me $40.00 and said they would not be sending me another battery and they want me to take a loss as they also lost money. I'm out $46 usd and no battery for my laptop.
This outfit is a joke as obviously they are unable to deliver a working battery to a Canadian address even though they say they can on their website. This company obviously does not satisfy their customers and instead rips them off. Warning warning warning! Buyer beware at cheap-laptop-batteries.com.
