I received an email (several actually from different sources) and decided that i would check it out. I looked through the facts that they presented went through the terms and conditions (yes I actually read the whole thing) and decided to sign up. I didn't have a funny feeling or anything when I gave my credit card information (the site said that they would do some sort of authentication on my card) and I then I bidded on two items (at a penny each bid) and went on with my day.
I wanted to go to the store and checked my bank balance just to make sure I had the amount that I wanted to spend. Well I go to my account and BidHustle had a $150 charge pending!!! I immediately went to the website which was conveniently having difficulties maintaining the site. I finally got onto the site and got the contact information and of course because it was the holiday the office was closed and I would have to call back on the next business day.
I then decided to call my bank and just have them cancel the pending charge and of course my bank couldn't do that and couldn't do a stop payment because the charge was pending. I had other bills pending and now I'm going to be well over two to three hundred dollars overdrawn on my account and there is nothing I can do about it at all! I wish I had heeded the name cause it most certainly is a hustle!!!
