I to have been ripped off. We signed up with compuserve when we bought our computer from wal-mart at that time I agreed to a 3 year rebate program to stay with compuserve, after about 1 1/2 they offered a migration with alot for the same price, no extra charge just the 21.95 a month. So I took advantage of the offer.
Now almost a 1 1/2 later stupid me I never really looked at my bank statment until the other day and noticed I was being charged 21.95 from aol and 21.95 from compuserve, When I called them and questioned them about it they said we had to different accounts and I thought why and how come would one family have 2 different accounts going to the same billing address, with one phone line and one computer.
So I figured it up and we had been over charged almost 500.00 After spending days of trying to get some answers and dealing with people you can't even understand (language), I finally got one of the accounts cancelled, and they told me by law they only have to rememburse us for 60 days worth of charges.
TO me they admitted that I should not have been charged for two accounts but oh well so sad we don't have to give you back your money, I am supposed to have until this Dec for my contract for my rebate to be done and then I am going to new server the same day and I am going to tell everyone I can what rip off's compuserve is and not to deal with them at all
