I discovered that I was being billed $9.99/month on my Verizon phone bill for a service I did not order. I realized that I had unknowingly accumulated $120 in data service fees. I discovered that a third party vender called Send Me, Inc. Was billing my account. I contacted them and they stated I could discontinue the service. I said I wanted a refund for this service I did not order. They stated that I could only receive 50% back. I went to their website and discovered that Send Me Mobile is soliciting children age 13-17 to sign up for services without the parent's authorization and billing the parent's cell phone bill without the parents' knowledge. Send Me, Inc. Makes a minor agree with a legal document that cannot be understood by the child. Send Me, Inc. Makes no effort to ensure the parents agree to the purchase. They mislead the child by exposing children to numerous deceptive ads that get the child to sign up for things, not realizing they would be charged $9.99/mo to the parent's account. Send Me, Inc. Is making millions of dollar at the expense of busy parents who might not see the charges for a while. This is consumer fraud and send me, inc. Needs to be stopped and forced to refund 100% of fees charged to the parents. They also need to be given a very large fine and individuals in charge of the scam to be legally accountable!
