Corp misinformation by sales staff on computer battery use resulting in shorter battery life Fargo

My battery on my lap top died 20 days after the year warranty. When I called gateway they told me that I should have kept the battery out of the lap top when it was being operated with the power cord. When I purchased it I was told just the opposite.

I then explained this to them and they were extremely ruse especially when I told them that actually the battery could have died earlier since I rarely use it.

I also asked if they gave disabled persons any special consideration and they said absolutely not except for saving the %5. Oo shipping.

I then went back to the store at Easton and asked a sales person about battery and power useage and he said that it did not matter if the battery was kept in the laptop while the electric power charger was on. It appears to me that the employees of the retail store are telling customers one thing and the technical and customer service personnel are telling another story.

I also went to Comp USA and they said that it is best to disconnect the battery when you are operating a laptop using the electrical charger over long period of time.

I feel that the local sales people at Gateway Easton gave me false information and that since it really can't exacatly be determined when the battery died I should have been given some consideration due to their misleading statements and their flat refusal to assist the disabled is unreal for a company that size
