I ordered an item on an internet site, assuming it was the official site, only when the order was placed and they had my credit card details did i have concerns. The company did not email me any confirmation of order, the order still remained in my shipping cart. When looking for a contact no, there was none, there was however an online 24hr chat line. I did start a chat with someone called Lucy and raised my concerns, she was not at all reassuring and when I asked for the address and no. Of the company she suddenly closed the chat. I still have the page open on my laptop, and will not close it as when I opened a new page and googled the address ' www.linksoflondonscharmsale.com' it now no longer exists. The site when I first looked before purchasing was originally no. 1 on the google search. I did assume this was the official links of london site, as I have been on before and it looks exactly the same. Obviously after closer inspection, sadly after the event, there is clearly a difference as they offer no contact details. Where do I go from here? I assume I will contact my bank whom issued the card?
