I signed up for a free 2 week trial of Rhapsody.com. After about 3 days, I realized that this service was over-priced and that I'd never use it in a way that was necessary to warrant the charges for their service, so I cancelled. I even got a confirmation email and figured that all was settled. Today, I checked my bank account to see that I was charged $16.04 for SuperPass. I called the number listed 1-866-212-1343, and apparently, when you sign up for Rhapsody, you also unknowingly sign up for Real.com as well, which includes completely separate membership charges. I spoke to someone who cancelled this membership for me (and I did get a conf #), so hopefully I will not be charged again for this service or any other unknown service, but I've read of others continuously being charged for up to two years by them. I would report this as fraud before I'd let it get THAT far, but I just wanted to make others aware of this outright FRAUDULENT activity. I will NEVER EVER EVER again use Rhapsody.com nor would I EVER in a million years recommend it to anyone else. Completely useless, sneaky, and shady. Ripoff!!!
