Multiple mistakes, many days to fix problem, rude people, defective computer was sent out

I was in desperate need of a new computer because I work from home and my old computer quit on me. I was going to purchase a computer locally but since I live in a really small town I didnt really have alot of choices so I had my brother look online for me. He found this company called newegg.com and I decided since they offered rush order and next day shipping that it would be worth purchasing from them. When I finally got my computer the next day I opened it immediatley and started to program it. And the mouse pad was not working on the lap top. I was irrate because it didnt work right out of the package. How could they miss that!? Its kind of a key function of a computer which leads me to believe that they dont even check the protect before they sell it to people. Anyways I spent hours on the phone with the tech people trying to fix the problem and eventually they told me the computer was defective and I needed to return it to the people I bought it from. So then the next morning I called the newegg 800 number and talked to them. I explained my situation that I was in desperate need of a computer and that I couldnt afford to wait another day to get a computer so they said they would give me a refund but not until I sent the package back. I tried to explain to them that I needed my money back asap so that I could buy a computer locally since I had already missed like three days of work and I am a single mother supporting me and my daughter and they said that they would give me an advanced refund. I was very thankful that they were willing to do that until they told me it would take 3-5 days for them to process the refund. I do not understand how it could only take 20 min to charge my card yet it take 5 days to put the money back on. They said there was nothing they could do about it and that I would just have to wait. The agent then hung up on after being extremely rude to me and I had to call back. Anyways since they did all that they could I just had to wait for my money. As mad as I was I just sent the package back and waited for my money. At the end of the five days I checked my bank account to see if the money had been credited to my account and it wasnt. So then I checked to see what was going on and they had sent me another computer and then charged my card AGAIN! So I called them again and they said that the agent had put the request in wrong and that they had requested a rush replacement instead of a refund. Then I was told I would have to wait for the other package to get here and send it back before they would return my money. I explained to them that they had taken all the money I had and me and my daughter were going to have to go with out food if they didnt refund my money and she just said well i cant authorize the refund so i demanded to talk to a manager. I waited for fourty min to talk to a manager and she finally said they would stop the package and refund my money so I would have to wait another 3-5 days. Anyways I have still not recieved my money and me and my daughter have gone hungry for 3 days now. I cannot believe that people would take my money admit they were wrong and then be ok with knowing my three year old is starving because of there mistake, I just want to warn people not to use this company and I hope noone else has to go through what I did.
