I bought a computer and software (P3 1GHz system and windows NT) ($693) From a company called PC partners located in Erie PA. They shipped Me a computer that did not work and is refusing to give me a refund of my money. When the package arrived I opened the shipping box and I noticed that there was something loose in the computer case. So I called them and reported this, I also asked for a refund of my money. They told me that there was no refunds only exchanges. They had never discussed this with me over the phone when they verified my order. I returned the computer to them. (I paid the return shipping... U.P. S $20.) They shipped it back after a few days it still was not working. They told me that they were not "dell or gateway" and if I wanted them to check the system again I would have to buy their plane tickets from erie pensylvania to miami. They later claimed that I had opened the computer case and ripped out the motherboard. And that this voided my warranty. I never opened that computer. I felt like this was a scam from the beginning because there was never an invoice in the box. I reported them to the better business Beuru but they have'nt given me much help. The computer is still here in the box, PC Partners has my money and won't return it. The computer they shipped never worked. Please some one help me I just want my money back.
