I took my Apple Computer into the Apple Store at Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland, MSon December 21. I was having a problem with the DVDs beingejected and wanted a repair. My computer was taken to the back to be"checked" as the clerk told me, and then I was told that I would need acompletely new drive and that it would have to be ordered. I was askedto sign a form authorizing the replacement of the old drive and given aquote of 3-5 day turn around.
Today, December 30, I was calledand told that my computer will be sent off to the repair facility. Iwas later called back and told that it was not honored under mywarranty for damage. Now my warranty is up. That means it was checkedtwice and okayed. Then they decided it was not suitable while they areshort staffed. I was make a promise in the store, over the phone, andon paper. There was no confusion at any of those times but now they aretrying to go back on the promise. If I has agreed to pay an amount forthe computer and they fixed it I could not later refuse to pay. Anagreement is an agreement. I have had to put my work on hold. This hashelp my business and my money back. I deserved what I was promised 3times. I called the national customer service number and they were no help.
