Vice President Joe Waz my name is Darick C. I'm sorry to bother you but at this time but I have no other avenue to turn too. I have talked with many customer service representatives there at Comcast, and have even spoken with a PR by the name of Nicole Daske from Michigan.
Even though this problem has been an ongoing situation I will try and make this brief as possible. I have a small computer business and I seen an opportunity to get in on one of Comcast High-Speed Internet promotions called refer-a-friend. I was told that if every person I refer stayed active for at least 30 days I would receive one month credit towards my high speed internet account.
I referred them on the website www.comcastonline.com, I did keep all of the referrals I made from that website.in addition to the referrals I made the set limitations at that time only included a 30 day subscription length to qualify people for one month credit. I was also informed at that time a year ago I could refer as many as I wanted being there was no set limit to receive refer-a-friend credits.
The only exception I was given was I could not receive more than one month credit per person I referred. Comcast PR Nicole Daske did explain in order for me to receive all my credits she would, along with co-workers go through my list of 69 referrals (which have grown from that number) and apply them in an orderly fashion.
I became A Comcast high-speed customer in the fall of 2001. And from my calculation I should have more than enough referrals to credit my account into the month of July. I do have two more items to bring to your attention.
(First) If in fact that there are credit months given, I believe even if the price of high speed internet goes up with the market, and I was granted those months prior to the increase and I should not have to pay the difference in price I should just receive the months of credited service, and (Second) PR Nicole Daske from Michigan did tell me about one of her clients which happens to be a realtor, referred in the area of 600 people.
The realtor referred her clients that she knew through the mortgage industry. Which would be similar to my clients that I have serviced computers for? I don't ask for much, in fact I would just like a piece of mind knowing that every month I don't have to play cat and mouse with the local Comcast customer service representatives for them to add one credit per month.
Please let me know what you think of it with the Rebuttal box, because I still have not received all my credit referrals to date. First I was told from A General Manager by the name of Steve Thomas I worked for Best Buy and he would not allow anyone affiliated with the Comcast advertising for high-speed internet through Best Buy to participate in the offer, and then he accused me of working for Best Buy Store which gave him another reason not to honor the referral credits. Now that Mr. Steve Thomas has moved to a new branch in Detroit Michigan. The standing Vice President & General Manager by the name of Bill Black in Flint, Mi. Has added more red tape by saying my referrals is not valid. I would like to receive my referral credits up to the point at getting all the 122 persons I referred to send in confirmations that I did in fact refer them. I did not borrow (steal) the names from any list (Steve Thomas) from Best Buy or like affiliate stores such as Circuit City or ABC warehouse.
By the way todays date is 6-10 and I sent the fax on 3-04, I would have thought that all of this should have been resolved by now.
