Got into contact with Activebox http://www.activeboxsite.com around May. I was looking for a developer that would be able to create a 3d interactive sex world to my website. We agreed to make a new datingwebsite and add a 3d world to the site. The total amount for the website would be $4000. After a while of communicating. Activebox asked if I had interest in a design that he had, we talked about the design and the website and i liked the idea so i agreed on getting that website also build total amount of the website would come down to $8100,00. So total amount for both website came down to $12.100, - I purchase the domain name and the hosting and activebox started to work on the website. There were frequent mockups that he showed me so I agreed on a payment. The first payment was made 1/3 of the total amount. After a couple of more mockups and saw that the project was almost done i made another payment also 1/3. I was noticing that the new website got more attention and said something about it since I also made down payment on the first project the 3d world. I started to notice that the communication started to get less during time and I wasn't trusting thing anymore everytime it seemed when i asked when the website would be finished i got different excusses i asked many times if i could start to test the website but since he was working offline this was not possible. Communication got worse and worse nothing but excusses either the developer was sick, was drunk he said so wasnt able to be online because he had a hangover or developer had no internet connection which he lost for over 2 weeks. When there was still some kind of communication the developer said he was uploading the website but eventually he never uploaded anything. I started to look for another developer and told activebox to either refund me my money or finish up the project and upload all files again developer said he would upload all files after again no uploads I told him again either money back or finish up the website. I found another developer and activebox got pissed off and started to tell me it was his design and he was going to give me a website and give back my money? But I never got anything no website no files no nothing just a template which he uploaded on his own server. He said he would have to sell the website first before I would even get my money back for both projects which total amount of $8200, -. After communicating with him again he said he wasnt going to sell the website anymore? Okay so what about my down payments? He said he didnt have the money and would have to sell the website first but there is no website? I told the developer i was not going to sit back and wait till he desides to pay me back and started to tell him i am going to get a laywer and file a claim and all in all he tells me madame dont talk so much. He never ever gave me any excuse as to why he never finished up the websites? First excuse was no internet and a week later he is sick in bed okay??? They have 16 employers? Are all sick and have no internet connection? I have nothing to show for for all that he got paid for nothing no files no uploads only a domain name and a server that i purchased myself. I have proof of all that has happend in the last couple of months transactions emails all to proof that he was full of excusses and gave me nothing to show for. My server is empty my old dating website he never made a back up so is gone also, so I lost nothing but time and lots of money. And now I am doing whatever i can to get back my money get my old dating website up and running again but no backup was made so nothing left. I want either a full working website or my money back and i am trying to help other people that they wont lose there money on this scam internet webdesign company. A friend of mine was also looking for a developer to get a website built and told him (when everthing was still okay in the beginning) to get a website made by activebox. The website was paid in full. Since traffic was very low my friend started to look what was wrong with the website and came to find out that the domain name was never put into his name neither did activebox add any kind of seo. The whole amount that was paid for the website included domain name registration and seo which was never done. My friends website was already up and running for 2! /2 months without seo and not even in his name??? I send activebox an sms and activebox changed it real quick that same day on the 24 july but website was built and running in May? To this day activebox made sure that my friend is not able to get onto the server so my friend has no access to his own paid in full website, no body is able to enter the server other developers has tried to enter but no luck what so ever. I am hoping to get the word out that this is nothing but a scam artist company and makes sure that he gets all trust in the beginning from his clients and when he has gotten most payments the client is left empty handed.
