I agreed to send $1.95 to receive a disc for a trial of the "Ebay Success System" which was placed on my debit card. Mind you, I will not try anything unless I have at least a week to view and try it before I can cancel as I've been ripped off before! This company charged me another $39.95 before I had even received the disc. I called to cancel which took nearly 45 min on my cell only to get to the last stage, having to speak to a manager, and suspiciously was disconnected.
I had explained that they should remove the charge due to the fact that I hadn't even received the disc so how could I possibly have tried it and they refused. This was during the first call, after being disconnected I called back and waited another 30 min to finally get a confirmation code. I was livid considering I had recently lost everything in a divorce, am disabled and was simply trying to recoup some loss.
Upon further investigation of my bank statement I found another charge for $9.95 a week later with a different number. I called it only to hear the same cheesy music on a loop in the background, in the end had to cancel my card and replace which is no small feat for someone who is basically bedbound. Thanks hope these guys get shut down quick!
