I installed the earthlink cd I recieved in mail with the offer of 45 days/1000 hours free. With in 7 days they took out the $21.95 monthly pymt.
I called 1-800-earthlink. They looked up my info including the promo code I gave them that was on cd. When I installed it, it never asked for the promo code. Would never give me a home page or anything where I could surf the web.
When they found my info, they showed I installed from the internet and they showed the promo code didn't even exist.
I went over everything with the lady and they agreed to reverse the draw on my acct. But... It would take up to 30 days for it to be done. I explained it only took them a couple of days to take the money out which also cost me an extra $27.00 as the money wasn't in there. So why should it take 30 days to put the money back. So it's supposed to be back in the acct. Around May 28th, 4 weeks later.
