Lack of support for laptop

My wife and I bought a second computer to read emails from our kitchen in July. We were told to buy Toshiba by a techie at the school where my wife taught. It was a big mistake.

From the time of purchase, we have had a very difficult time using any word program with this computer. The cursor keeps on jumping backwards. The unit came with a one year warrently. I made numerous phone calls both before and after it went off of warrently and got many answers... Being told to do this and that. At one time I was even told it was due to my AOL software. Nothing has worked and I am now out of patience. I totally regret buying a Toshiba based on the customer support that we have gotten.
